THE REMOTE LOCKABLE CABINET
This smart locking medication cabinet interfaces with Modeus’s Hospital Controlled Drug Management System, HS8, limiting access to the controlled drugs only to those authorised, while taking care of the record-keeping to ensure facilities comply with all government regulations.
Flowsell® has applied innovative design gained through decades of experience creating specialised storage systems for Australia’s leading hospitals. The features include concealed hinges for security, and shelves with multiple perforations to increase airflow and improve infection control. The cabinet contains the patented Flowsell® PullOut SlipShelf, which is fitted with FastFit Dividers to orderly arrange drugs and Row Dividers to accommodate an extensive variety of medications and to keep controlled drugs sorted carefully. These shelves pull out through the opened door to ensure fast restocking and excellent stock rotation. Controlled drugs are easy to access, while reducing the risk of cross-contamination.

The Remote Lockable Cabinet is a keyless entry system. Access is controlled by a sophisticated remote lock, operated directly through the Modeus HS8 software system. The program securely records staff, patient and medication details, before authorising access to the cabinet via the remote lock. Access is monitored, tracked and recorded, with every entry and retrieval documented digitally to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations. It eliminates the risk of human error while keeping controlled drugs, staff and patients safer. The cabinet can also be used with a manual lock for facilities not using Modeus HS8 and the digital lock.
